Mantras are the means by which various deities are invoked.

What is the mantra?

Mantras are the means by which various deities are invoked. So that the deities balance the physical, mental, physical and spiritual development of the native and make the life of the native happy. Mantra Shastra can be defined as a fully developed spiritual science.

If the mantra is chanted with full purity and reverence in full Vedic style, then the waves emanating from it establish a connection with the deities associated with the mantra. Our sages and sages knew about this wave, they searched for various mantras to establish a relationship with this wave. Correct chanting of mantras increases the flow of positive energy in the human body and the waves emanating from the human body come into contact with the related divine waves and spread positive effects on the human brain. But negative flow can also occur if there is an error in the word order. The mantra also has the power to activate and energize various Yantras. Without mantra the instrument remains only in form.

Origin and development of Mantra

This time I will discuss about the origin and development of mantra in very few words. It is a very natural question that when the mantra originated and who is its author? These very important questions are still not answered. But it can be assumed that the authors of the mantras were sages of ancient times. On the other hand, if the Rik Veda is accepted as the oldest book of the Aryan race, then it can be said that since the mantras mentioned in it are the developed forms of the mantras, the period of composition of the mantras is before the Vedas. Not only in the Rik Veda but also in the Yaju, Sama or Atharva Vedas, we find a large number of mantras appearing in highly developed form. Other books like: Samhita, Aranyaka, Upanishad no doubt, later works of Vedas. So it is not surprising to find advanced forms of mantras in them. There is no country or nation in the world in which it is not practiced or a part of the people there do not have knowledge about it. It is difficult to find people who are not aware of the power of Mantra.

But nowadays in the extreme moment of modernity, the influence and prestige of this ancient knowledge has decreased a lot. At the beginning of the Kali Yuga, this science developed greatly. Then the sages acquired this knowledge through hard practice and sadhana. They gave it the utmost excellence. This ancient lore is greatly nurtured by the tender care of Siddha Sadhakas and subordinate men in the next stage of Munis-Rishis. Today the impact of this science or knowledge is so lacking that it is difficult to find them especially real scholars. But still the hope is that the popularity of this science or the extent of its power has not diminished. Even today people take the help of Tantrics in education, politics, sports, business, foreign travel, elections, special competitions. The most important thing is that the need for magicians in various activities such as puja-path, shraddha-shanti, marriage, food preparation etc. has not only decreased but it has increased a lot.

Some time ago we had considerable practice and use of Tantra-Mantras etc. in India. Ramrama was also by powerful tantric yogis or saintly mahatmas. Many times they have surprised everyone by doing strange things. We see many of their works in Punthi Patra. "Saints of India" is a valuable book. In this book, the amazing powers of many saints of India are mentioned with evidence. It is a science that is not discriminated against. The one who wanted it was able to achieve it through devotion, sadhana and long practice. Today the prestige is somewhat dimmed and fewer in number, but it is not completely gone. In many cases, true saints remain beyond the reach of ordinary people. But the number of real saints today is very few, there is no way to deny it. In other words, if we want to say in a few words, we have to say, there is Vidwan but there is no scholar, there is Tantra but there is no tantric, there is mantra but there is no holder of mantra. Finally, the practice of astrology and mantra is not just a fantasy. If you practice it enough, you will get the results.
