I wrote about Rahu and Ketu in the first two paragraphs. But today I wrote something only about Rahu. I wrote this article from different perceptions in my astrology life. I hope you will read and give your valuable feedback.

Importance of Rahu and Ketu in Astrology

Rahu and Ketu are not recognized as planets in modern scriptures. They are only shadows. In Mathematical Astrology, Rahu is Moonlight and Ketu is 'Comet'. Varahamihira also called the moon as Rahu and the comet as Ketu. Rahu-Ketur is not mentioned in Varahamihi's applied astrology books. Asura-Svarvanu in Rigveda is called Rahu in Puranas. Rahu and Ketu are the planets in all other applied texts and Puranas except the applied Jyotish of Varahmihir. In all these applied astrology and Puranas the own karkata of Rahu and Ketu is also acknowledged with considerable importance. In the Rajamattanda texts, various names of Rahu-Ketu are mentioned. Neither Rahu nor Ketu has any existence as in the natural planets. They are unnatural and invisible planets. Both are lonely. However, it is very powerful. Rahu and Ketu are associated with all the planets or in the sign in which they live, they give the result of their karaka based on those planets or signs or the ruling planets of the sign.

Rahu-Ketu movement curve in the zodiac, their journeys against other planets. They are instruments of seeing evil in the chariot of man. In the sky of the fate of life, they pour extreme disaster-fog. The function of the two planets is to mislead the destiny of man. And always on the crooked path, this chariot of theirs is crushed by the stones of misfortune. On the other hand, if this Rahu-Ketu becomes strong and is affected by a benefic planet, then the person becomes a millionaire land owner with elephants, horses, slaves, vehicles and many precious jewels. But to get this result or as a result everyone has to face extreme pain and suffering. Even one million people get exemption from it. Hence in the description of original nature both the planets are called malefics. From Rahu we get information about previous births. Ketu indicates what changes will happen to people in this birth or what are the consequences of people?

Rahu in astrology

The main discussion of this chapter is about Rahu, so Ketu is kept aside for now. In the next chapter I will discuss about Ketu. Only then will Ketu be fully discussed. Rahu's motion curve in zodiac. Rahu did not take the straight path even for a moment. His bodiless monstrous idol. Yet even that figure is prone to stuffy senses. That's his big fun life. Bodiless, yet has a strong desire to enjoy the body. Rahu always wants to swim with the fins of the five senses in a curved path in the sea of enjoyment. He wants to satisfy his desire for pleasure by sheltering the body. Like the flame of fire, he is always burning with the poison of desire. There is a fire of lust in his eyes.

Rahu has no judgment. There is no bitterness. He has no mercy, pity, shame, hatred, fear. Rahu wants to take away everything from the world and become a mercenary. Rahu has no differences.
